Tea Cup DP #36

Daily Painting #36

“Tea Cup”

This is an oil painting on a 6”x6” canvas. I’m going to do a series of little still life paintings from random things in my home. If you have any suggestions of things you’d like to see painted let me know, I am open to all ideas. This one is of a tea cup and tea of course (It’s English Breakfast if you are curious;). I thought it was really sweet. Hope you think so too.

I decided to go back to the smaller canvases and put them on eBay for auction again. From time to time I’ll add the larger canvas paintings up for sale on my website for a fixed price. But one thing I didn’t realize about eBay that is so great is the mass audience eBay offers. I am not continuing the eBay store I had before, they will just be auctions listed by me as an individual. Also this is a great time for you to purchase some of my paintings, seems how it is at auction… you never know what kind of deals you can find there! You can always just search my name at eBay if you can’t find my paintings. They’ll pop up for sure.

Many of you asked questions about this ‘coaching’ thing I am starting. My Business/Life Coach is Laurie Santos and her website is http://www.extremedreamtraining.com/ I’m really looking forward to our sessions and will keep you posted on how it goes.

So I am including a picture of the “Tea Cup” and also a photograph of a painting I started a few days ago. I don’t have a name for it yet, but you can see a progress shot of it here. It is on 3 wood panels, the words PEACE, LOVE, COMPASSION are burned into the wood with a wood burner. (Inspired by my dad’s friend Frank Willoughby, woodburning artist). I used acrylic paints for the colors. This is not finished yet, but when I am done I’ll send the final picture along with the blog for it.

That’s all for today, have a great one!

Peace & Blessings,
Gayle Etcheverry
