This is an acrylic painting on a 10”x10” canvas. The subject is of a crane in what appears to be a lake or stream. I used brushes for the majority of the painting, but did add some airbrushing in the background.
When I started back up yesterday with the Daily Paintings I completely forgot about the whole eBay thing. I guess I was just so excited to get the new site up and running it slipped my mind. So I am going to try it out again. This is what will happen - new paintings will go up on eBay and what is left over will come back to this site and be available in my new Store. Sound good?
Times are strange here and across the country. Even for someone who doesn’t partake in the major news, I too have to challenge my inner thoughts about the economy, gas prices, life, etc. The only thing that seems to keep my mind in check is meditation. I’ve been using a CD by Wayne Dyer for a very long time and I’m starting to get a bit tired of it. So I am going to create a new track of my own with Garage Band on my computer. If anyone out there would be interested in trying the new meditation track with me let me know. I’d be happy to share it with others as long as I can get some feedback on it. I’m planning on making a bunch of these tracks and would love some people to experiment on ;)
I heard this poem the other day and wanted to share it with you. It is by William Blake~
Man was made for joy and woe
And with this we rightly know
Through the world we safely go
Joy and woe our woven vine
A clothing for the soul divine
Hearing this gives me comfort that life has ups and downs and that goes for the economy too. ;)
I did manage to put a youtube video together for this painting. It’s really short, check it out and let me know what you think.
Much love,
